In 2016 Waterways Cruises has engaged the legal services of the Turnbow Law Firm on a range of assignments – business contract creation and review; editing of an employment manual to assure compliance with state and federal law; review of several maritime legal issues; real estate lease review and negotiation; and tax dispute resolution. We have found their legal research to be sound and their advice to be germane. Their work has always been timely rendered at a reasonable cost. TLF was particularly effective in the resolution of a tax dispute with the State that saved Waterways $168,000 in taxes claimed by the State that were not, in fact, owed by the Company.
